How to Use Vision Techniques to get what You Want!

Using some sort of “Vision Technique” will greatly increase your odds of success!

A few weeks ago Charlotte and myself had talked about “creating a vision” for yourself.

After talking to a few different people and re-reading some of my previous study notes I can tell you that I have broken down my techniques into three main things to do daily.

It’s called “Be, Do, Have“.  I will break down each one of these for you!

Be….who are you Being right now?

Are you loving, caring and joyful?

When I was at the top of my game in Direct Sales…..I stepped out to Be a great leader.  Sure, I had to have a starting point (who doesn’t???) and I had some fears….oh boy did I have some fears….A Phone Phobia, Rejection just to name a few.

But once I had in my head…. “I want to BE a leader in my company” ….that is who I saw myself Being.

Number two is DO!

Sure…. I started blabbing to friends and family….I want to be a leader….and I’m going to make XXX amount of money…but I started something even more important       I THOUGHT LIKE A LEADER! Read more

Starting a Home Business Plan

This last monday we talked on our radio program on How to Start a Home Business Plan!

We shared great tips and ideas whether you have recently started a Home Business or perhaps you are looking to start one.

Your success (or lack of success) hinges on being Organized, having a Goal, and Knowing Exactly the start up required.

Here were our top Ten Tips (trust us we could have a couple of hundred…but we narrowed it down for ya!)

  1. Join something you are passionate about.  It’s easier to talk about something you love
  2. Be clear on joining costs  ~purchase kit  ~earn for free
  3. How many bookings are required?
  4. What is required to earn as much FREE product in 1st mth, 2nd mth, 3rd mth
  5. Implement a plan to “fast track” your start
  6. What are monthly costs? how much is needed in sales to cover? what can you do without?
  7. Will your biz be full-time? part-time? make office hours
  8. What kind of training is supplied? weekly, monthly, yrly conference….how will you pay to get there?
  9. Set a yrly goal then work Backwards!
  10. Have Fun!

The biggest obstacle with anyone in a HomeBusiness is just learning Where to Start…..and to have a Home Business Plan.

Follow Through

Every Direct Sales or traditional sales job company says “the money is in the follow up”. This is a true statement. Although it’s a true statement people can get confused with what it means or HOW to follow up.

Not every client is ready to purchase your service or product immediately. Timing may not be right or they don’t have a need for that service or product at the time or even financially they may not be prepared. There are several reasons why a person may not purchase from you right away.

If someone doesn’t purchase with you right away it does NOT mean that they don’t have an intention to purchase from you at all unless they have clearly stated, “I don’t want to buy from you, don’t contact me again and I have no need for that service or product” then you should absolutely follow up with that person.Respecting the boundary is important. There’s no use trying to talk someone into something that’s not right for them. Money issues can be overcome and is not a real reason for not purchasing with you.
